Self Practice Program
BEGINNING JANUARY 2022!
This comprehensive program begins with a regular - in depth! -month long course, with the standard $1200 USD fee. The latter includes 100 hours of tuition and all the required practices to begin learning and developing within the VKM method. New students must attend the first month of this program in order to attend any of the following months.
Returning students can attend for any period of time, from 2 to 12 weeks as desired. They can also start attendance any time within the three month period.
The second two months of the course are at a special discounted fee of $700 USD per month, or $175 USD per week. This part of the program is primarily focused on morning self-practice, five mornings per week, and two afternoon classes per week. These afternoon classes will be quite flexible, and not following any set structure - minimal repetition of prior afternoon workshops. First time students who attend the first month and continue into the second (staying for a total of 5 weeks or longer) can learn much greater details and subtleties of this method, with emphasis on ongoing practices within VKM - such as intermediate and advanced sequencing, intermediate and advanced pranayama, and developing greater consistency and stability with advaita vedanta and meditation.
New students should learn at least half of the Moon Sequence and half of the Primary Series prior to attendance. You can get these two sequences from my online store, the two books; Vinyasa Krama and Ashtanga Yoga As It Is, or the DVDs:
I would also suggest reading about Advaita Vedanta and learning some of the basics prior to attendance. Please follow the link.
All Courses are limited to 20 students.
Preference will be given to students attending for 4 weeks or longer, students attending for 2 weeks can be expected to be moved around depending on bookings.
Be careful of reserving your flights too early.
Most courses fill up one year in advance, so please be prepared to commit in advance.
$1200 USD for first 4 week course (100 hours)
$700 per month or $175 per week thereafter
January 8 to February 3
February 5 to March 3
March 5 to March 31
From January 2020 there will no longer be any refunds available for courses.
Although I understand booking and committing one year (or more) in advance is a big deal for some people, it is the nature of my courses. As I limit all courses to 20 students, I am guaranteeing everyone individual attention. My courses are all high in content and quality! So I expect students to be willing and able to make this commitment, both financial and personal, to the teachings I am offering. I do so with ongoing commitment myself - to help, serve and be as beneficial as possible.
There will be some exceptions to the ‘no refund policy’ in the case of hospitalisation, or other significant trauma. Lack of finances, personal trouble, work changes, or other reasons will not be considered.
Once payment is made, you have made a significant commitment. Thank you! Anytime prior to course commencement, you can make a transfer to another course - as along as a replacement can be found. If no replacement student is available, no transfer is possible. Transfers are best done at least 6 months prior to course commencement.

I have recently finished the building a new Yoga Shala in Ubud, Bali, just north of the Arjuna statue in Petulu. The land is beautiful, and we have just completed phase one:
Phase 1: The VKM Shala is complete, with all your yoga needs provided!
Phase 2: Private House and Pool will be completed by August 2020
Phase 3: Student accommodation, kitchen, and student pool will be hopefully completed by 2022.
At the moment there is no onsite accommodation, but it is relatively easy to find your own. Please check the link and list below. We do provide herbal vegan chai every afternoon during the afternoon classes ! :)
Here are a few photos to look at, enjoy!
